DATA PATH
What happens to a formula task
In Describe → formula mode, the text you submit is sent over HTTPS to a FormulaBrief Cloudflare Worker and processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to generate one formula. FormulaBrief does not intentionally store the task, formula, or model result.
In Formula → explain mode, parsing runs in your browser. The pasted formula is not sent to the generation endpoint.
Do not enter confidential workbook data, credentials, personal data, or trade secrets. The probe accepts a description or one formula, not a file.
MEASUREMENT
Analytics and session replay
Cloudflare Web Analytics provides basic page-view counts used as the traffic denominator. Clarity loads only after you choose “Allow masked replay.”
The workbench input and output region is masked. FormulaBrief sends only fixed event names and low-cardinality labels such as task mode. It does not send prompt text, formulas, results, email addresses, cell references, or workbook names as analytics properties.
You can decline Clarity without losing access to the tool. The browser stores only your analytics choice and a local task count used to measure repeat use.
LIMIT
Rate limit and abuse boundary
Model generation is limited to ten requests per source IP per UTC day. The Worker stores a SHA-256 hash of the source IP with the UTC date and a count for up to two days; it does not store the raw IP in the quota key. Cloudflare may process standard network metadata as part of delivering the service.
CAPABILITY
What FormulaBrief cannot know
FormulaBrief cannot inspect cell values, named ranges, workbook structure, locale separators, data types, add-ins, or the user's Excel version. A generated formula may need reference changes and must be tested on a copy of the workbook.
External-resource and executable functions are blocked by this probe. No macro, VBA, DDE, workbook upload, batch processing, or full Google Sheets compatibility is provided.
TRADEMARK
Independent compatibility description
